Regis Canny: He's Back For His 11th Run and $11,000 As Well...Its for a GREAT Cause!
Dear Supporters of my 11th Anniversary Run with Team Fisher House...
Thanks to my many FamEnds (Family & Friends) who have been so helpful in the successful launch of my 11th straight fund raising campaign to collect funds for the Fisher House Foundation. Upon finishing this year’s Marine Corps Marathon, I hoped to have raised $11,000 so I can reach an 11-seaon Grand Total of $63,000 for this world class military support organization.
If you take just four minutes to view the video above, you will see firsthand how a Fisher House operates. But more importantly, you will see through the face and in some cases the tears of those active duty, veterans, and their family members what it means to them to have such a marvelous facility available at their time of greatest need.
The story below about Air Force Senior Airman Heather Carter, who suffered a tragic accident while she was on active duty, will also tell you all you need to know about what Fisher House is doing to support the loved ones of the wounded or sick active duty or veterans who have served our Country. If you want to help support this world class charity, then PLEASE click on the DONATE button in the upper right hand corner of this page or send your check to me at:
Regis Canny 116 Little Quarry Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20878.
I will then take care of all the paper work and ensure that you get a receipt for tax purposes, which you will also receive if you decide to donate on line. Please use my web page to see first-hand the compassion and help extended to those needing the services provided by Fisher House as well as the kindness of those who support this cause I LOVE SO MUCH. Know too that this is exactly why Zachary & Elizabeth Fisher created this foundation…to support the families of the sick and wounded at active duty and Veteran’s Hospitals.
The mission of Fisher House is to be there for those who answered our Nation’s call to defend it and who now need the support of their loved ones to help in the healing process as a result of wounds or illness suffered on active duty or as veterans. In closing, God Bless those who serve our Nation, God Bless You, and God Bless the United States of America. And THANK GOD for Zachary & Elizabeth Fisher.
With Sincere “REGARDS & THANKS TO YOU”
