What Fisher House Means To Me
My husband Jim served in the United States Air Force for 21 years. I am so proud of his accomplishment and also very honored to be a part of the Military life.
As some of you may know my husband was diagnosed this year with Stage 4 Mantel Cell Non Hodgkins Lymphoma B. It has been challenging, but we have stayed positive and hopeful.
The reason I mention this is not for sympathy, but to let you know that Jim and I are very fortunate to live in a place where he can recieve the best care in the nation and we can sleep in our own beds.
If Jim was still in the Military, I know he would still receive the best care, but would we have a warm, heartfelt place to live if we weren't close to the hospital or if we were stationed in a foreign country?
This is where Fisher House plays a huge role in the lives of the Military. They are there for us when we need them. This organization has helped keep families "together" where they can heal "together" for free. That's right, a nice place to stay for free, thank you to the donations this organization receives.
I work for Beazer Homes and we are Proud to Support Fisher House Foundation as our National Charity Partner!
My Personal Goal is $3000 and I am hoping you will help me reach this accomplishment! No matter the size of the donation, they all count and I will be forever grateful. My Personal Donation Page is below, please share it!
Donate with confidence: Fisher House has received a four-star rating from Charity Navigator 15 years in a row and an A+ rating from CharityWatch/American Institute of Philanthropy.
